We also have special guest, cardiologist Dr. Sonia Henry. In this episode, we discuss heart health, diabetes, exercise, diet, football player Damar Hamlin and his recent heart injury, and take questions from our live studio audience. Dr. Sonia A. Henry is the Medical Director of Echocardiography at North Shore University Hospital (NSUH). She graduated Downstate-SUNY College of Medicine. She completed Medicine residency, Chief Residency, and cardiovascular fellowship at Northwell. She is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Cardio-Oncology, Echocardiography, Nuclear Cardiology, Cardiovascular CT and is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and American Society of Echocardiography. She current holds the elected title of District Councilor for American College of Cardiology New York State Chapter. She is on the Medical Board of the North Shore Medical society and the Medical board of North Shore University Hospital.
